A new beginning
Start Clinic came to us to redesign their website and build it on WordPress for them. We created a custom design for them and presented it via InVision. They loved the design from the start and so we only had to make a few small adjustments before we moved to Development.
We built a custom WordPress child theme off of the Genesis Framework that was 100% editable.
One of the special features we added for Start Clinic is their members area. We put in place a system that allowed Start Clinic to easily add or sell memberships to clients and created a place where they'd be able to add content that was only allowed to be viewed by members. They have the ability to easily filter between what they want to see, based on categories, tags, and keywords. Not only is it easy for members, Start Clinic can also filter what members can see based upon which membership they've purchased.
A beautifully designed blog page with a powerful filter option which helps Start Clinics audience to pick the category they want to read through. The design includes appealing hover effects to entice users to click inward.
Pagination is something that is and should be coded into any blog. It allows the blog to be separated into multiple pages, allow us to reduce the loading time it would take if we were trying to load all blog posts onto one page. We've mixed next, previous, and number buttons to ensure the user can quickly navigate through the pages of blog posts.
Start Clinic was looking for an easy way to share their directions with clients who are trying to find them. So we created a field on their contact page that auto populates a users location as they are writing it. Once they client enter, it opens up Google Maps with their address in and the directions to Start Clinics office.
